Project Awareness Day Review
On the 18th June, MVV ran a Project Awareness Day in partnership with our Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor, Kanadevia Inova.
The event was primarily for local companies to explore sub-contacting opportunities arising from the construction of the new Medworth facility. It also prompted discussions around longer-term considerations for operational delivery, with associated educational and employment prospects.
It was a very busy and successful day with over 40 organisations attending, including businesses, recruitment specialists and training providers. If you couldn’t attend but are interested in having a conversation about the services you can provide, please do get in touch.
We’re now planning the next step - our Project Recruitment Event (PRE), in October. This will focus more on the related careers information for secondary and FE students in the area, as well as private individuals looking to work with us.
