MVV Environment Medworth Limited are developing a state of the art, energy from waste combined heat and power facility (EfW CHP), to be built on the existing waste management site on the Algores Way industrial estate. Given its location, we have adopted the name “Medworth” after the ward in which the site sits.

What is the impact on local air quality?
EfW accounts for a very small part (0.05%) of total particulate emissions in the UK annually (Environment Agency and National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory). Thanks to state-of-the-art flue gas cleaning, our power facilities comply with the very strict European regulations for clean air.
